My Mystics vs Aces best bet: Mystics +8 (-110 at bet365)
The Washington Mystics and Las Vegas Aces have changed a ton since last season.
The Aces have been legitimate contenders year in and year out, but have fallen from grace since moving on from Kelsey Plum to bring in Jewell Loyd.
A’Ja Wilson remains a two-way superstar, but her team’s performance has dropped off significantly on both sides of the ball. The Aces’ record against the spread (5-9) is proof of that.
The Aces have covered in their last two games to snap a six-game losing streak ATS.
Washington, on the other hand, has been successful at covering.
The Mystics are 9-4 against the spread and have covered four times on the road, including as 15-point underdogs in a three-point loss to the Aces earlier this season. Washington’s rookies have helped turn around a team that struggled tremendously last year.
The Mystics might not win, but they have the talent to keep this game within two or three possessions.

Brittney Sykes Over 4.5 assists
Brittney Sykes is amid a career-high scoring year, scoring at least 20 points four times in seven games this month while averaging 19.6 points overall.
She didn’t appear in Washington’s first game against Las Vegas this season, but is primed for a strong showing on the road. She’s scored at least 20 points in five of the six road games and should be aggressive after her poor showing against Dallas.
Sykes is also her team’s top playmaker, averaging a career-best 4.8 dimes per contest. She’s recorded at least five in three straight meetings with Las Vegas. Those squads were much more defensively sound than this latest Aces iteration.
